Rio de Janeiro-born singer and multi-instrumentalist Leo Middea reimagines classic Brazilian traditions—MPB, bossa nova, and jazz harmony—through a contemporary lens with pop sensibilities. His approach combines the sophisticated melodic language of vintage bossa nova with modern production and arrangement, creating something that sounds both rooted and urgent. At just a teenager when he began touring internationally, he has already performed at Montreux Jazz Festival and reached the final of Portugal's Festival da Canção.
