Noura Mint Seymali is a Mauritanian griot and composer who plays the ardine (a traditional harp-like instrument) alongside electric guitar and rhythm section, weaving centuries of Moorish vocal tradition with desert blues and Saharan psych-rock. Her music unfolds through trance-like cycles of poetic storytelling and collective improvisation, anchoring West African call-and-response in a psychedelic contemporary sound.
