The Cable Street Rag Band plays vintage dance music from the late 19th and early 20th centuries, drawing on rags, blues, foxtrots, tangos and polkas. They specialise in the swinging ensemble sound of early jazz and dance orchestras, bringing period authenticity to material from 1850–1940s.
