Roella Oloro is a pianist and composer with Nigerian and Jamaican heritage who trained at Berklee College of Music and its Global Jazz Institute, studying under NEA Jazz Masters Terri Lyne Carrington and Joanne Brackeen. Her trio delivers sophisticated post-bop jazz rooted in contemporary composition and energetic ensemble interaction, drawing from her experience both as a soloist and as a member of the high-energy British afro-jazz collective Steamdown.
