Sun-Mi Hong is a Korean drummer based in Amsterdam whose NOCTILUME project merges composition and improvisation through layered electric sound and collaborative exploration. Her drumming anchors post-rock atmospheres and psychedelic rhythms that move fluidly between fragile, quiet passages and intense, physical climaxes. Winner of the Edison Award and SENA Dutch Jazz Competition, she channels rooted grooves into exhilarating outbursts alongside saxophonist Mette Rasmussen's rawly experimental approach to her instrument.
